This 17th century Manor house was derelict before we took the project on. The Manor lies in a small village on the outskirts of Wadebridge, Cornwall. Throughout this project we used our knowledge of traditional building methods, with lime plasters and mortars relevant to the period, every detail was considered right down to the cornicing. The windows and joinery had to match existing styles and being a grade 2 listed building we needed to be sympathetic to the period and surrounding area. With this project we collaborated with an architect who had a wealth of relevant experience and the materials we used needed to be sourced from around the country, making sure the whole project was in keeping.
